WESTON COUNTY SAR TRACKING COURSE NEWCASTLE, WYOMING

This JHPTS Visual Tracking training course, held on May 31 – June 2, 2019  was sponsored by Weston County SAR and tracking unit at Newcastle, Wyoming.  The training was held at the Newcastle city/county voluntary fire department headquarters and training facility.  The JHPTS-Visual Tracking contacts and sponsoring trackers were Apprentice Tracker Chuck Franklin and Basic Tracker Lynn Busskohl.
 
Instructors for this class were Joel Hardin and Mark Culp, (Lake County MT).  The Assistant Instructor was Marty Robinson, Natrona County SAR, Casper, WY.
 
This course was the first in what is hoped to be a rotation of yearly training courses in that mid-central region and is intended to include the Dakotas, eastern Montana and Wyoming and Colorado groups.  Ultimately this should open the program to Nebraska, New Mexico and Utah.
